Designer Masaba Gupta commenced the Lakmé Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2014 with her show, filled with cheer, great style, innovative designs and gorgeous Shilpa Shetty as the showstopper.
Masaba’s collection was titled ‘Wanderess’—it brought out a beautiful blend of the 60s with hints of modernist flamboyance. Bell sleeves, flared minis, big floral prints, thigh-length jackets with flared pants and cutout sari gowns incurred much-deserved applause and appreciation.
Shilpa donned an elegant black printed cutout gown with an attached dupatta drape. “I hope I have done justice to Masaba’s collection,” she says.
Trapeze-printed top with bell sleeves, attached dupattas for skirts, bell-bottom styled shararas, long-sleeved tail coat cholis with printed saris and drop waist will-power maxis added to the options that Masaba offered through the show.
