Not So Serious by Pallavi Mohan is all set to launch its maiden-Cocktail Sari Collection that has evolved out of the brand’s core aesthetics to amalgamate western sensibilities with Indian ethos.
Sari has defined Indian womanhood for years. It is said that the beauty of a sari lies in the way it is draped. A well-draped sari signifies poise, elegance and charisma of a woman as an individual.
From classic nine yards to pre-stitched saris in the form of fluid lehanga-skirts with a pallu and sari gowns, the ensemble takes ready-to-wear and easy-to-handle makeover adding the value of functional clothing.
The collection signifies delicacy and highlights silhouettes with a modern twist to dress a modern woman, keeping her femininity alive.
Cotton nets transiting to georgette have been tastefully melded with exquisite laces and delicate embroidery with flashes of crochet flower details and appliqués –European vintage meeting Indian classic all the way. The essence of the collection lies in its colour form, drenched in candied pastel palette of ecru, fragile pink, light lime, soft peach, powder blue and dusty pink.
