Delhi-based fashion designer Rinku Sobti showcased her new line – Essenza at second day finale show at Mysore Fashion Week 2016 – season 3. This collection is inspired by fruits and handlooms of Varanasi. Dauntless yet elegant, this collection is for every woman who loves to embrace their feminine side with confidence.
Rinku Sobti chose to have embroideries inspired by fruits on her outfits, which portray the sweet essence of craftsmanship of weavers. Her collection has rich colours of Varanasi along with modern designs that include chic style dresses, flowy skirts and understated jackets.
Designer Rinku Sobti says, “Despite their tribulation, the destitute artists never fail to amaze me with exotic creations from their nimble fingers. It is the very unnatural duality – the birth of elegance in impoverished hands that ignites my ambition to revive the handloom. No matter what external circumstances are for our weavers, they are the ones who have talent, learning and passion for art. This collection is dedicated to them. They are the ones who should eventually reap the fruit of labour.”
