“Classic and traditional are two words that aptly define Bandhgalas. The intrinsic silhouette and versatility of this garment makes it an easy choice when you want to replace that choli over the lehenga or sari. I have designed Bandhgalas with ankle-length pencil pants. And to give them a more structured look, I have paired them up with long skirts, palazzos, and lehengas. The fabrics used are brocade and silk; they add to the stiffness of the garment.” Says Ritam.
