Fashion designer Dhruv Vaish, showcased his Fall/Winter-inspired collection ‘Noire’ at the Amazon India Fashion Week 2017 in New Delhi recently. His poised collection unveiled on the final day had Indian wrestler, Sangram Singh walk the ramp for him as showstopper.
This time, his collection was all about exploring the colour – black in varied shades, forms, and textures. The garments have been made by keeping wear-ability factor in mind. Hues of white and chrome surfaced occasionally to subtly complement bold black tones. Sophisticated and understated designs were the highlight of this collection.
The line of designs was dominantly made of tweeds and luxurious wool flannels. The use of lightweight cotton and leather detailing worked wonders for the collection. One can see a conglomerate of edgy silhouettes and well-thought layered patterns that is a reflection of clever design sensibility. Keeping the surface textures clean and minimal, the designer let the colours do the talking. Plaids, bold checks, and abstract graphics added the perfect amount of dapper to this spunky creation. Structured jackets and long coats were paired with relaxed trousers and skirts.
