Define a usual day in your life.
Every day is unpredictable when you are in the world of fashion. We are always innovating, creating and discovering things. Almost all days come with their own share of offerings of inspiration, determination to work hard and of course strive towards excellence.
What is the best part about being a designer?
I think to be what you have always wanted to be is a blessing, the best part as you call it. The opportunity to dream and to shape them, create them is the most satisfying part. Also, there are jitters of deadlines, but it comes with huge returns – like a happy smiling bride looking ravishing in our creations.
Do you remember your first day at work? Tell us about it.
First day at work means, the second step towards fulfilling a dream. I guess everyone experiences the same butterflies in their stomachs. Well, ideas fight for a room, yet it gets a bit crazy to put together all of those in one go. Unknown setting, unknown people, but what’s comforting is to know that all are travelers in the same direction.
Any suggestions for budding designers?

Well, I have been a fan of both. After all, both of them have been doing their bits for years now and shaping the industry.
According to you, which Indian state has the most distinctive fashion sense?
Mumbai is good because it’s very innovative. I think the North-Eastern states also have a very distinctive sense of style. They have this rare ability to put together a look very easily.
If not a designer, what would you’ve been?
If not a designer, then some form of art for sure. Either a painter or who knows, may be an actor.
