Indian fashion designer Purvi Doshi showcased an exquisite collection titled ‘Rhythms of Desert’ at Bangalore Fashion Week W/F 2016. Purvi’s collection this season comprised of geometric patterns with floral highlights, coupled with a vibrant color palette, inspired by the Gypsies of the desert that are an integral part of folk art of India. The garments had a spread of oases-like Parsi embroideries incorporated with contemporary designs and silhouettes exclusively made in Khadi fabric.

This gorgeous collection brings to mind notes of vintage-y affairs juxtaposed with gothic spirit—so subtle, delicate, and yet so powerful in its approach. The authoritative design philosophy of designer duo, Paras and Shalini reflects in every inch of this new line. Geisha Designs have come out with a stunning collection once again and I absolutely love the outfits—apt for women who abide by the saying “bold and beautiful”.
