Known as the ‘Sari-gown Specialist’, Sonaakshi Raaj presented her opulent line of Red Carpet creations called ‘Rebel with a Cause’ at the fashion week. The show stopping entry was made by Malaika Arora Khan in a post-box red lacy embroidered gown with a layered luxurious tulle flounce.
Showstopper Jesse Randhawa with Shantanu and Nikhil
The show was a grand amalgamation of fashion and art when Himalayan presented the ‘Himalayan Couture Collection’ by Shantanu and Nikhil and artwork by artist Brinda Miller at the fashion week. Super model and dancer, Jesse Randhawa floated in a white will-power textured gown with tantalizing 3D embellishments to end the superb show.
Yuvraj Singh and Arjun Khanna
Red, amber and green embraced the ramp for designer Arjun Khanna. Orange/white traffic markers lined the ramp, which was converted into a two-way street with zebra crossing. Twenty-eight helmet-clad men marched down the catwalk and the scene was set for an almost martial like fashionable attack from the designer who can make a difference in men’s wardrobes. The surprise element of the show was Yuvraj Singh, who left the audience spellbound with his sexy moves on the ramp!
Shehla Khan with Showstopper Shruti Hassan
There was romance, glamour and ethereal creations on the ramp when Shehla Khan presented her ‘Nouveau Victorian’ fashion symphony under her label ‘Shehlaa’ at the fashion week. Bollywood actor, Shruti Hasan walked with great style down the ramp, modeling an angelic pink lehenga with a micro choli.
Suhani Pittie’s jewellery has always made great style statements at fashion shows and at Lakmé Fashion Week Winter/Festive 2014 her collection called ‘Found And Lost’ was all about love that needs to be treasured and valued. With German silver, plated brass and copper, acrylic as well as pearls, Suhani wove an interesting story, which featured as the main highlight for a multiple offering of innovative jewellery.
